The number of appointments you will have depend on the amount of work that needs to be done to your dress. The average amount of appointments are three, this includes your free consultation and two fittings. If you only need limited alterations then you can get away with only one fitting. Always keep in mind that there could be more than the average amount if we are resizing the whole dress. We want to ensure the best fit for your wedding day. 

We recommend coming in for your consultation 15-20 weeks before your wedding. This wide window is due to seasonal adjustment.

If you are on a quick turn around time please call into the shop and talk with the receptionist.

Seamstresses are limited to the hours in the day so once they fill up they can no longer take more work!

Your dress always stays in house! Our sewing room is a full manufacture quality room with only industrial sewing machines.

It looks like something you would see in New York or LA. Ask your fitter for a sneak peek 

All of our seamstresses work in house so your dress never leaves this building. It is 100% insured and protected!

The dress is the number one thing to bring to your appointment, without your dress we would not be able to see what needs to be altered. We also advice bringing in your exact shoes to your appointment if you need a hem. We need the exact shoe because all shoes are made and measured differently. If you need the bodice altered then shoes are not needed at the consultation. Also bring any shape-wear or under garments you plan on wearing with the dress so we can ensure the perfect fit!

We don't have any restrictions to the number of guests you bring along with you. However the appointments are only  30 minutes so we do ask that everyone that comes along understands the seamstresses and fitters need to be focused on your dress and achieving your perfect fit. We want you to be heard! We are focused on you the bride because this is about you. Unlike the bridal store, we are just here to make the nips and tucks to get a perfect fit. No drinks or food are allowed in the fitting rooms while the dress is in there.

Your dress will be ready 1-3 weeks before your wedding. If you need it as soon as possible it will be ready whenever the soonest time available is for our appointment system. We go by appointments only so the dress will be ready for that day and time. No bride will ever leave our shop not knowing or setting the date for fittings or pick ups.

Bring as many dresses as you would like us to see within the 30 minute time slot. If you feel like you need more time give us a call so we can schedule you for more time. 

If you are buying your dress online and would like advise on your order or measurements we have a $50 consultation fee for that.

We do pressing in house.  There is an extra charge for pressing. The dress is not steamed on any of your fitting appointments. The dress will steamed within 3 days of your wedding and will be left out of the garment bag. We do this to prevent the same wrinkles from forming again. To transport your dress we recommend you lay the seats down in your car and lay a sheet out in the back to the dress and lay spread out in the car as you take it to your destination.  Please talk to your fitter about the process and how to prepare for press pick-up.

We will only press dresses that we did alterations on.

Alterations have a every wide range in pricing. We will not be able to give you an exact quote without seeing the dress on you and knowing exactly what needs to be altered.

Most alteration averages are $600-$1000. We do not have a minimum even if you only need your cups sewn in, we only charge that amount.

We do not clean any dress at our studio. If your dress needs dry cleaning we recommend having that done before alterations in case of shrinkage. We do not remove any make-up, odor or self tanner.

No. We do not recommend receiving quotes over the phone or through email. The price can not be guaranteed. It's like if you asked your car mechanic to price out your car repairs by only seeing a picture of your car. We offer a free consultation to ensure you get the exact set price for the alterations you agree upon. Our prices for services you sign a contract with are final. We do not increase prices if something took longer than expected. Only price add ons you will ever see are when you add on a new service to the contract.  

Yes, however we do fill up pretty fast. Keep in mind that we do over 1500 dresses a year and have limited fitting rooms and appointment slots. If you need to change we recommend calling 2 weeks before your appointment to be able to reschedule. Weekends and evenings are the most popular slots so those fill up 3-4 months in advance.
